Deck Description

Basic Idea
This deck is a clone of B/W Changelings by Gr33dy: https://www.mtgvault.com/gr33dy/decks/bw-changelings/
Gr33dy told of a match against someone named "guywhowalksalone". The deck this person played used the synergy of changelings in combination with creatures that need as specific creature type on the battlefield. He liked the concept and shared it with us on MTGVault, I also liked the concept and took the deck, to see where which changes I would like to make.

Tests
I have tested this deck against other pauper decks. The decks I tested against are a mixture of Control and Aggro and the result are recorded in a spreadsheet. If you're interested in details from the spreadsheet, feel free to ask.

Conclusions from the tests
The detailed results of my tests can be found under the original deck, made by Gr33dy. The short version is that this is a very fun deck to play, quite aggressive, but it lacks some removal to enable you to take out threats that your creatures can't handle. Also the manabase feels a little bit to clunky, which can be fatal for an aggressive deck.

I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to improve this deck.

Deck discussion for W/B Pauper: Changelings

Now this deck look familiar, hahaha.
Also, peek my updated list! I caved and bought 3 Dust to Dust, so now my affinity matchup has a slightly higher win rate.

I like the addition of Obscura Storefront and keeping a more basic land heavy deck. I am wondering how Talon Sliver came to mind when you tested and if it has made a difference in your games.

Talons First strike + deathtouch changeling should be an easy include.

I have tested the original list, but not this one.

Talon Sliver came to my mind because it was mostly using the shapeshifters in defensive situations and first strike should allow them to survive a little bit better. The question was: Add a 4th Sinew Sliver or something new, and I quickly looked at my sliver-list and found this card. Crypt Sliver could also be an option in terms of survival tough it doesn't add to the decks combat abilities.

As for the lands: I rarely had the problem of being colour-screwed, and even the situations where I had problems with mana in general where very few. Also I really love the New Capena search-lands (like Obscura Storefront) and them it instead of Evolving Wilds in every multi-coloured pauper deck I have. And they are cheaper than Ash Barrens.

I took a look at Venomous Changeling. Personal feeling is that it would fit into the deck and it wouldn't fit into the deck at the same time. On one hand the deck needs at least 1 Shapeshifter on the battlefield boost Griffin Rider, on the other hand it wants as many Shapeshifters on the field for Smitten Swordmaster // Curry Favor.
Venomous Changeling is way better than a 1/1 any of the other shapeshifters in this deck. But Deathtouch is an advantage and drawback at the same time because it keeps opponents from attacking but it will draw and removal an opponent has. And with 3 mana its also on the upper scale of the deck.
