Deck Description

Basic Idea:
This is the current version of the main deck of a close friend. He used it during our last game-night and we took the chance to improve it a little bit cards I had lying around and this is the final version of that day.

Tests:
The deck saw some action on that day ad won a lot of games tough it has it's limits: Aggressive decks (like R/G werewolves) or decks with many removals (like my own B/R vampire deck). We don't have any control-player at the moment so this was also a matchup that couldn't be tested.

Future improvement:
High Sentinels of Arashin was used during the first games but got switched against Enduring Scalelord in the end because this deck favours quality over quantity of creatures.
Wanderer's Strike was to expensive to be used during games and thus will have to be traded against something else.
Arrest will be replaced by one of the many Oblivion-Ring variants.

How to Play

Hardened Scales in combination with your 1-mana creatures is something really to worry about. Grateful Apparition is the real match-winner of this deck especially when it has a +1/+1 counter on itself.

Deck discussion for W/G: Proliferate

Nice budget stuff. I would probably seek some cheaper control pieces too. Oblivion Ring could work fine for it's broader range of targets, but something simple like Burst of Strength for surprise block or Mutant's Prey would be very cost effective creature removal. Dromoka's Command would do well, but costs just a tad more.

Enduring Scalelord seems a bit too costly for 20 lands, so I'd probably improve overall consistency with a Conclave Mentor or go for one of the many hydras that come with +1/+1 counters. Managorger Hydra could work as a potential game ender, though it's something like $4 a piece.

I've recently spoken to my friend about this deck, especially when I mentioned Conclave Mentor to him. He seemed very interested in that creature, and said that he wanted to add it to his deck. I'm really interested with what he will come up our the next gaming-night (which will unfortunately take some time).
Personally I would go for Conclave Mentor or Barkhide Troll as replacement for Enduring Scalelord and Seal Away as removal. I will sent him your suggestions, let's see what he does with them ;)
