[u]Basic idea[/u]I already had a pauper version of my mono white equipment deck, but I stumbled upon [[Goblin Gaveleer]] and wanted to see if a W/R version was possible and playable.If you want to cut the price of the deck in half simply remove [[Great Furnace]],[[Ancient Den]] and [[Darksteel Citadel]], tough this makes it more difficult to activate the metalcraft ability of your creatures and spells. [u]Maybe-board[/u]Brass Knuckles[u]Tests[/u]I have tested this deck against other pauper decks. The decks I tested against are a mixture of Control and Aggro and the result are recorded in a spreadsheet. If you're interested in details from the spreadsheet, feel free to ask. I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to improve this deck.
The stars of this deck are [[Champion of the Flame]] and [[Fencing Ace]]. A Champion with 2 equipments attacked to is an impressive 5/5, which can be achieved as early as T3 and it's trample makes sure the damage will get to your opponent. The Ace is a little bit weaker as his double strike ability is impressive but doesn't boost his toughness, and he also lacks evasion of some sort. [[Ardent Recruit]] and [[Auriok Sunchaser]] function without needing some equipment attached to them and work as backup plan.
