Deck Description

[u]Basic idea[/u]
I already had a pauper version of my mono white equipment deck, but I stumbled upon [[Goblin Gaveleer]] and wanted to see if a W/R version was possible and playable.
If you want to cut the price of the deck in half simply remove [[Great Furnace]],[[Ancient Den]] and [[Darksteel Citadel]], tough this makes it more difficult to activate the metalcraft ability of your creatures and spells.

[u]Tests[/u]
I have tested this deck against other pauper decks. The decks I tested against are a mixture of Control and Aggro and the result are recorded in a spreadsheet. If you're interested in details from the spreadsheet, feel free to ask.

I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to improve this deck.

How to Play

The stars of this deck are [[Champion of the Flame]] and [[Fencing Ace]]. A Champion with 2 equipments attacked to is an impressive 5/5, which can be achieved as early as T3 and it's trample makes sure the damage will get to your opponent. The Ace is a little bit weaker as his double strike ability is impressive but doesn't boost his toughness, and he also lacks evasion of some sort.
[[Ardent Recruit]] and [[Auriok Sunchaser]] function without needing some equipment attached to them and work as backup plan.
