The idea for this deck came while looking at Ythsmir "Oh! Shiny!" (sadly without a deck/ how to play description) commander deck (https://www.mtgvault.com/ythsmir/decks/oooh-shiny/). Metalcraft and vehicles sounded like a fun idea so I started to pick cards from the mentioned deck and squeeze them into a modern-legal one. I intentionally didn't add mirrodin artifact lands because after game 1 your opponent will add every artifact-removal he can get his hands an and those would make quick work of your manabase. I was thinking of adding Myr Servitor to the deck instead of Sram's Expertise. The advantage is that they can be removed permanently only with an exile or mass-removal and can be used for Smuggler's Copter draw/discard ability, but would also make the activation of metalcraft slower. For the moment I've added 4 to the sideboard. Estimated mid-value before adding special lands: 24$Tests:At the moment this deck exists only on this site and has never been played against another deck. Regardless I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to further improve this deck.
Inventor's Apprentice is your only real spell you want to play turn 1 as Galvanic Blast and Dispatch will only get it's full potential with +3 artifacts on the field. Sram's Expertise can be used to quickly increase the number of artifacts on the field, to get some cheap blockers and to have 1/1's to crew Sky Skiff and Smuggler's Copter. Veteran Motorist give a bonus to the vehicle he's crewing while Inventor's Apprentice is "just" a cc1 creature that can crew any of your vehicles. When Jor Kadeen enters the battlefield things will get ugly very quickly as e.g. a 5/3 Sky Skiff is nothing you withstand for long.

I build this deck in commander when I finished leaving Kaladesh. Tremendous, only the test deck worked very well, ending up winning a table of 4 finishing with every 1 of the opponents. Nobody sees what Jor Kadeen can do with a simple servo 1/1But the deck has a very large window, which leaves the pilots taped and unlikely to block. I could request it with a paradox engine but still needs work, like trample or first strike, to not to worry about low resistance vehicles. It works, and it's very fun! I hope that the version of 60 will be more agile. Hugs!PS: Golem Artisan helps a lot
