Deck Description

Big creatures = big mana cost. In this deck, you won\'t even see that coming. With his ultimate fast mana boost, you\'ll be able to play big creatures easily in 3 turns. Epic Struggle gives you the edge in creature combat, but also gives you the edge on numerical superiority concerning creatures. You may think 1/1 or 2/2 tokens ... well yes and no. How about 1/1 and 2/2 tokens with 2/2 lands with at least 4 +1/+1 counters on each one.

Deck discussion for Natures Revolt

hey cool deck...couple of suggestions...take out riptide replicator...he wont be needed and instead of vine trellis put in llanowar elves....you wont need walls with those creatures! also...i can see how in the ideal setup you can pop out these creatures...but i still think that it would be a slow start...the spells to get out mana...cost mana...so you might be using all your mana to get mana until you can get some creatures out...and i dont see you getting out 20 creatures for epic struggle.

I agree that riptide replicator may not be necessary, though the reason i put vine trellis its because i need early game defence + mana. I dont put llanowar eleves because they are 2 easy to kill (one arc lightning and 3 of them are gone). The technique of this deck requires that the first turns be spent on mana spawn. Either my walls help me to defend, or I get to spawn big creatures fats enough to regain control. About that epic struggle, just check deeper to understand.

To spawn 20+ creatures:
-Elvish piper + Monkey cage: with 6 mana, I put monkey cage then play any big creature with piper (extreme example: kroshan, I just added 10x2/2 for 6 mana).
-Verdant force: adds a 1/1 token on each player's upkeep
-Symbiotic wurm: if it dies, 7x1/1 token (chances it will die=poor but still)
-Verdeloth + upwelling: X kicker = X 1/1 tokens
-Nature's revolt: all lands are 2/2.
It's no elf token multiplier, still ...
