Once a creature or multiple creatures have these counters, the following spells and creatures become much stronger:Crumbling Ashes (destroys any target creature with a 1/-1 counter)Blowfly Infestation (continues the spread of (-1/-1 counters)Necro Skitter (returns dead creatures to my side of the battlefield)Kulrath Knight (disables any creature with a -1/-1 counter on it)The win is purely damage after cruising through your enemies creatures.Go for the Throat is for any threat that is needed to be taken care of swiftly, and Phyrexian Crusader gives me an alternative win with poison counters while still spreading -1/-1 countersComments welcome :p

Kulrath Knight. 3/3 flying wither and creatures your opponents control with counters can't attack or block. I've won a lot of games with it. I made a wither deck and you would be surprised how rarely crumbling ashes and blowfly infestation actually come into affect. My deck is now an elemental tribal instead because the wither just wasn't worth it. Its a great feature but not for the center of the deck. Your infect, midnight banshee, and instants might make the difference though.
