Swap 3 Nightveil Specter for 3 Vampire Nighthawk. and sideboard Nightveil Specter.
Nightveil Specter only mills one card, and only when it is unblocked. Most of the time you cant play the card it exiled since you wont have the right lands. It is a good side board against blue or black decks though. Against most decks Vampire Nighthawk will help you far more.

Oona's Gatewarden also doesnt do much for this deck their are alot of other one mana cards that will do much more. I would recomend Swaping your 3 Oona's Gatewarden for 3 Will-o'-the-Wisp. It will provide you with unlimted blocking potential.
(THeir are tons of other cards you could swap it for Judge's Familiar, Oona's Gatewarden, Delver of Secrets, Cosi's Trickster, Phantasmal Bear, Sage of Epityr, Jace's Phantasm, Thrull Parasite, Cloudfin Raptor, Duty-Bound Dead, Tormented Soul, Slitherhead)

I agree that nighthawk is a far better choice than the specter. I was kinda lost and specter was a decent fill card with a semi cool ability that I could also dark ritual for on turn one if I wanted. But I would rather use nighthawk so thanks!
My reasoning behind the gatewarden is simple though. My opponent has a 3/3. Ive got this 1/1 weenie that im gonna chump block with. But next turn ive gotta find a way to deal with that 3/3 again. With Oona's, I turn that 3/3 into a 1/1 permanently. Meaning that my opponent probably isn't going to swing much at me early game with anything important because I will happily sac my 1 drop to permanently ruin a bigger scarier card.
However, will'o the wisp is an amazing card and I would love to main board him, so im gonna try and find a way to sneak him in. thanks the advice

How about switching Slagwurm Armor for Viridian Claw? First strike is nice with deathtouch.

because in a sense, they both accomplish the same thing. the only difference is that slagwurm makes my creature harder to kill with direct damage. slagwurm, while not being able to instakill an opposing creature, will survive more punishment, while accomplishing the same goal.

Yeah but first strike death touch will stop a 8/8 Selesnya token that has been Selesnya charmed with trample, slagwurm will not stop that. I suppose it comes down to whether or not your playing against a red deck.i

well if my 1/7 deathtouch blocks an 8/8 trample and kills it, I take one damage and they lose there big guy. so worth lol

basically if im playing againt any red, boros, rakdos, gruul, jund etc, or any deck that has first strike and or double strike creatures, im gonna be happy that I have slagwurm.

I suppose, but in selesnya they will have 2 or more other 8/8's they will have populated into existence. Also if your death toucher had first strike they will also trade.
