Deck discussion for Life, Bringer of Death

this looks silly, just so much life-gain....what amount do you usually end up with by the end of a game?

Lol! well honestly ive never played with it, i have quite a few decks up here right now and i have been debating about which one id like to get. Its between this one and two others.

On another note, this deck doesn't necessarily need a ton of life to work, in fact only Chalice of Life and Serra Ascendant care about my life total. All i need to do is gain a chunk of life here and there, then win using Vizkopa Guildmage to kill everyone simultaneously.

Say i have a Baneslayer Angel and Rhox Faithmender in play, and i swing with Baneslayer for 5 damage and gain 10 life. But what if i have Vizkopa Guildmage out and i drain everyone for 10 more life with its ability. Overall i just did 15 damage to one opponent and 10 to all the others. Then i sacrifice my Tainted Sigil, gain another 10 life and deal another 10 damage to everyone. Thats 25 to one person and 20 to everyone else while i gained 20 life. Obviously this is not going to happen all the time, but its pretty cool that it can.

hmmm tainted sigil would gain you 10 life per player that had lost 10 life plus the initial 5 from the attacked you noted so it could easily be 20-40 life depending on how many people are playing.

also this seems like a very entertaining deck to play so if you ever do I'd like to hear how it works out, you could make a proxy of the entire deck and try it out to see if it suits you.

Have you thought about sanguine bond? It would turn some of that life gain into damage and if you couple it with exquisite blood, you have an auto-win next time you gain life or any opponent looses life.

yea, vizkopa does the same thing for 3 mana. I was trying to avoid the enchantment combo because its just not fun to play with or against. Oh i have these two cards so i win. Know what i mean?
