Why not phenax instead of keening stone? it would have the same effect with consuming aberration, plus the other defenders being able to mill

That's a really good suggestion. I like that quite a bit. Short answer: Recently introduced to the game. Not familiar with every card. This was just a deck I assembled personally. Thought I'd put it out there and see what people thought.

Gotcha. Well I did really like that. Already changed it up. The cards it was before were the actual cards I play with. So I'll have to get my hands on a couple of them phenax cards. Haha. Great advice though.

Perhaps spellskite instead of hover barrier?
I do really like spellskite. I'll definitely incorporate it into the next deck I assemble. But the problem I was running into was I was either getting overrun or hurt by flying. Maybe it was just personal experience, but I needed a high toughness defender that would also protect me in the air. I appreciate the suggestion though. If I'm not understanding why you suggested spellskite feel free to let me know. Like I said, still learning the game.
