Deck Description

Version 2.0
Wanted to make a standard legal deck without rares, but remain competitive against casual unrestricted decks.
To show my friend I can have fun without rares, and hopefully still win some games.

How to Play

Temur Sabertooth is the focal point of the deck. Not only to provide an indestructible creature, but also to replay creatures with enter the battlefield effects such as Hooded Assassin. Mardu Shadowspear is another great option, as you can attack for the trigger and return it to hand if it's blocked.

Equip the Heart-Piercer Bow to Temur Sabertooth and ping whatever target you want your Assassin to destroy whether your opponent blocks or not. All the killing should rack up Eternal Thirst, obviously best played on the Sabertooth.

Sabertooth also allows you to block large creatures and remove the blocker from combat before damage resolves, so cheap creatures like Shadowspear or Swiftwing help. I may tweak their numbers a bit.

I chose Gravediggers specifically as I'm playing against a delve deck with lots of cards forcing me to discard. Otherwise there are other nice options for enter the battlefield effects, especially if you don't limit yourself to common/uncommon and standard legal.

There is a clear weakness against enchantments and artifacts (Reclamation Sage could help that) and flying (which is why I added Longshot Squad). Although the latter should be less of a problem so long as you have the Sabertooth-Assassin-Bow combo in play. I used Eternal Thirst to help mitigate the loss.
