I'm liking that Altar of Dementia... nice deck man! Feel free to check out my decks if you want, I have a sliver one myself.
This deck actually won turn three in one game, which was awesome. However, it usually takes longer.
As I said with ToenailsOfGlory, this deck is meant to win no matter what situation I get forced into, and normally does. With the mana, I usually utilize either the gemhide sliver, or the vivids, or the unstables, or the ancient ziggurts, or the rupture spires, and though I have had a problem once or twice, I usually am able to get through without trouble.
The deck is designed to win no matter what I get out. I can win by milling, controlling, overwhelming, pumping slivers to higher power/toughness. The dormant sliver is actually very useful for me to get things out faster, and I use the top to control what I'm getting every turn to fit the situation. I'm actually 23-2-0 with this deck, which is only beaten by the record of my blue-green deck.
Planning on adding Rimescale Dragon and Broodmother Dragon at some point, too.
