Deck Description

This is a pretty stock standard decklist for Manaless Dredge, with a couple of tweaks.
The basic idea is to fill your graveyard as fast as you can, gaining massive advantage from graveyard interaction.

How to Play

Try to go second and don't mulligan, you'll need to head into your first discard phase with 8 cards in hand. Discard a card with a high dredge number (Grave-Troll has Dredge 6; Stinkweed Imp has Dredge 5 and Thug has Dredge 4).

When you go to draw in your following turn, activate the dredge ability and start milling your deck, hopefully you'll flood your graveyard with Bridge from Below's; Narcomoeba's (which get instantly put into play when sent from deck to grave) and Ichorid's which really is the heart and soul of the deck.

Most builds don't run Surgical extraction or Gitaxian Probe, but in a deck without mana, using Phyreixan Mana is a good enough substitute, Gitaxian probe become a dredge trigger with the bonus of seeing your opponent's hand, which can set up Surgical Extraction for a 4-life combo play to deprive your opponent of key cards they will invariably use against you, whilst powering out your deck even faster.

Chancellor of the Annex is a personal favorite as it has enough of a body to make even a couple of hits devastating in the format (this is a Legacy build - if I was playing it in Vintage, I would have switched to mana dredge with Library of Alexandria; Bazaar of Baghdad, Life From the Loam's etc.) and can short circuit plays your opponent would make before you can make any yourself.

Deck discussion for Manaless Dredge

I can't make sense of the inclusion of Giant Solifuge. And also, not running Golgari Grave-Troll really, really hinders this deck's potential for explosion
