Though the combo is good it suffred in its time for not being able to get traple easly. If you added rancor to this deck then your set... HECK even something like wisperslik cloak might be better, seeing as you dont need to target your quillspike at that point. Also, seeing as your combo is creature based id concider something like elrich evolotion, and some more persist cards to get value from it.

I mean a single command costs more than the entire deck rigth now. As ths is casual i would say its not a good idea to buy commands just for that. I would also like to say that gearhulk will probably drop dramtically once its out of standard.

so id keep gearhulk on the back of his mind, but wait fro it to fall out of standard.

I mean I disagree, cancel is the baseline for hard counters now. Though negate is probably played the most across all formats. Seeing as this is casual not standard I would recommend, remand, mana leak and disallow.

I surprised your not running two krenko's command over the frenzied goblin... it just seems more impactful when you are ahead and better when your behind. Is it just that tokens are bad in your meta?

This deck is great. Though it would be way more funny I think if you put it into semi real affinity shell so you can do all the serous plays, stare your opponent in the eyes, then rip up the lotus for the win. That would tilt so many people I know... this deck is awesome...

A soild, but fair modern deck with no galring weaknesses. I like how you have intergrated this intoa well known control package, but have dded the time sive to give it your own flair.

The talisman in the sb seems odd to me though, why not grafdigger's cage instead? Is it just a placeholder?

I mean you have sideboard 12 slots left, but if you don't feel you need them, sure.

I mean, if you wanted to make it casual sure, but they are not leagal in standard, so you can't play at FNM with it if you do that.

Have you run stensia masquerade in yoru sideboard? There are a fair few mardu cars decks around right now and having that really helps mitgate the lifegain they get from blocking.
