Also the claws dont really ever have the chance of giving more than +2/+0 early game, and with no treeamorphics they might not ever give more than that...is there any other way to give your snakes first strike for that cheap?

Yeh bonfire of the dammed is super expensive, becuase its still used in the money making tornuments! it a month of so i think it falls out of print though, and will fall in price.
Take out burn the impure, or at least put it in the sidebord, as infect creatures are rare now. Add some Pyrocasms, and add 2 (but ony 2 because BOY are they pircey) commet storms, and sidebord 2 bonfire of the dammed so you have mass creareature removeal. i had given up on this deak! but knowing it stands a chance at least i may try and make it. (minus the summit and graveyard, i jsut dont have the cash for that)
