This saturday I had lots of fun playing W/B in Botg Prerelease (in the beginning I played U/R but decided to completely change my deck after round 3).I feel like white now has some very powerful new cards, thus I want to try it out in constructed.In this version I am splashing blue for Ephara (card draw + big creature) and Detention Sphere for some removal other than revoke existence.Looking forward to your ideas and opinions on this one!
The strategy is pretty straight forward.Keep the creatures coming and often leave one mana open for Gods Willing.This will trigger either Vanguard for tokens or Phalanx Leader for more creatures.Eidolon of Countless Battles should be bestowed most of the time to avoid complete board wipes. As an aura it also triggers your heroics of course.The two gods work well as midgame beaters. Heliod increases your enchantment count with his tokens. Ephara speeds up your game after turn 4/5 if needed.The required devotion count should get on board quite easily.
