Your classic pauper tron deck

How to Play

THE MAINBOARD
We are trying to race to get all three pieces of the Urza tron online as soon as possible these are Urza's tower, Urza's mine and power plant.

To search for these lands we use expedition map (drop this turn one and then crack it on turn 2 for easy turn three tron) and crop rotation to turn our forest and other lands into tron lands. Crop rotation also has a second use as it allows us to fetch any land so we can go and get bojuka bog for those irritating dredge decks or Sijiri Steppe so to use as a method of protecting our threats or making our creatures unblockable. These three lands alone make seven mana allowing us to jam out threats very early on

The threats we play are Ulamog's crusher this is usually dropped on turn four due to it's 8 mana cost but can be dropped on turn three is you have a green source and crop rotation as we could for example tap and urza's tower for three using one of the mana for our chromatic star to make a green then activate crop rotation sacrificing urza's tower which comes into play untapped and now we have 7 untapped mana and 2 floating! This is a good threat as it is an 8/8 with annihilator 2 this is good as your opponent has to sacrifice their permanents before declaring blockers! Fangren marauder to gain back life in the late game from cracking our expedition maps to search for another tron land or chromatic sphere's stars and prophetic prisms for green mana and finally Wretched Gryff. This is an unpopular choice usually but I like it as it helps us get out a flyer to block those pesky delver of secrets and it is guaranteed to can-trip even if the creature gets countered.

The last mainboard thing you need to worry about are the chromatic stars, spheres and prophetic prisms these are here to allow us to get green mana without having to play forests and slow down how quickly we can get tron online. These also have the benefit of providing a card so we don't lose card advantage from playing them.

THE SIDEBOARD
As we are a fairly slow deck in the fast paced legacy style format of pauper we need to look out for decks like affinity so we run a few fog effects to help stall while we get tron set up. These are moments peace to provide a flashbackable fog and tangle to stop our opponents creatures from un-tapping. We also run 3 apostles blessing for those pesky control deck to help against removal and against swarm decks so they can't chump block are big game finishers. We also run reap and sow for the mirror as it has the ability to destroy a land or search our deck for a land so our opponents can't get to tron as easily and the added benefit of entwine which allows us to do both options for two more mana. Finally we run pulse of Marusa to help get back those lands that your opponent has destroyed (most likely in game two after your opponent has sideboarded and it gets us 6 life allowing us to stall for a bit while we get tron online.
