Deck Description

Evasive creatures that have effects when they enter the battlefield
+ things that bounce them (either flickering or returning to hand or turning them into NInjas) + Vela = fun

Vela isnt supposed to be the linchpin of the deck, instead just being an incredible intensifier. The goal is to gain board/card advantage by triggering ETB effects over and over again, such as Shriekmaw or or Baleful Strix.

How to Play

Step 1: Play an evasive creature with an ETB ability, gain advantage.
Step 2: Attack with evasive creature
Step 3: Turn evasive creature into unblocked ninja, gain advantage from Ninja effect.
Step 4: Return Ninja to hand with bouncing abilities.
Step 5: Repeat steps 1-4 until you win.

Undying Evil/Deadeye Navigator/Nephalia Smuggler can keep your evoking creature alive while still triggering Vela.

Inkfathom Witch is essentially an Overrun for this deck, turning your pokers into game-ending threats.

Erratic Portal, TIdespout Tyrant, Equilibrium, Blood Clock and Umbilicus are all good cards to consider and they do what you are tying to accomplish, although there might be timing issues on some that are on my list that might not work with your theme.

I want cards that return creatures to my hand as a "cost" for an effect, like call to heel, turning into advantage when I reuse an ability. Blood clock is a great card for that thanks, as is umbilicus, but the others not so much. Thanks for those two though, i never heard f those before, before when I started
