Deck Description

Yes, i know thats a card, and yes, i know its not included in this deck. Its still a pretty cool title though :D.

A more versatile Werewolf deck.

Most decks like this r just plain aggro, creatures and more creatures. But the best way to get ur creatures into werewolves is to not play spells on your turn, which is hard to too if all u have are non-flash creatures. Plus, U have a 1 spell limit each turn as well when ur creatures r werewolves.

So, to combat these problems, this deck tries to focus on the human side of werewolves. The humans can survive and eventually triumph on their own if forced to, but when they transform, they hit HARD.

Ideally:
(I go first)
Turn 1: Mountain, Reckless Waif
Opponent's turn 1: Land, nothing else.
Turn 2: Transform Reckless Waif, Forest, Curse, swing Predator.
Then i go nuts.

Deck discussion for The Furor of The Bitten V1.0

I like this deck, it's a different approach towards werewolves. For this deck I would suggest to add some dual lands to splash in blue, so you don't always have to pay the life cost.. I would also take out the shocks for 2 more beast within and another prey upon. the shocks are only useful for weak creatures, while beast within and prey upon can take out bigger threats. I think that makes up for not hitting the player directly. Hope this helps. :)

I really like werewolves, i feel they have great potential but are being passed up for token/mill decks because they're unreliable. I like the splashing blue, like hinterland harbor or something, to sometimes save some life.

Stay tuned for my Furor of The Bitten V2.0 when Dark Ascension is released! I'm seriously disappointed in the quality of DKA's red Werewolves, tho, but i have to splash red for Immerwolf.
