Deck Description

For some reason, Wizards have toyed around with the idea of suicide to win recently. First it was Near-Death Experience, then the Phyrexian Unlife/Melira combo. But they've gone all out for this mill-yourself-to-death idea in Innistrad.

With this deck, there r 2 win conditions.
Main:mill urself, use Memory's Journey, Reclaim, or Noxious Revival to get back Laboratory Maniac, then win

Secondary: Mill urself, get Boneyard Wurm, Splinterfright, or Kessig Cagebreakers and go stompy all over their face.

Deck discussion for Winning by Losing (Ur library)

Why Memory's Journey if you only have one Maniac? What are the other two targets?

Up to three. You can pick one if you want.

my actual idea was to completely mill myself, as in no library, then use Memory's Journey (flashback ftw) to get back Laboratory maniac and whatever else i need to finish the game (land, archivist/twisted).

you need draw spells, that way when you play the maniac you can going ahead and make yourself draw for the win.

i was thinking of Jace's Archivist. And now u mention draw, Jace, mind adept would work well, especially if i spam his 0 ability on myself.

Seems like it has a rather large weakness to Nihil Spellbombs. How would you counter those? (I carry some in the sideboards of all my Innistrad decks)

also curse of oblivion. i dont know how to counter both of those, but green has plenty of artifact hate, and ancient grudge would counter nicely as i can cast it when it is milled.

I would run at least 1 Gnaw to the Bone. Would help keep you alive until you pull the Laboratory Maniac.
