Um, well there's a few things I can think of to suggest. I'm guessing culling dais is the key card here like vat was in in the last one. If so, (and anyway in my opinion), not enough 1 drops. When you draw those cards I would wanna play ALL on the same turn. Candidates for the slot could be; death greeter, black cat, and I'm right in thinking you can sacrifice a creature (as an instant) that you've already targeted to sacrifice, then I'll not list them all but death cultist, shield mate etc... (just off the top of my head). Innocent blood would be an excellent 1 drop in this kind of deck too. Apart from that, maybe more undying or persist creatures (redcapp for example), and all those big white spells that chuck a million soldiers into play all at once. Board wipers?
No, never happened to me, don't know anyone with either of those cards. I just think it's a pointless way to win, like having felidar sovereign out and hitting 40 life, it's too easy, what's the point? There's no challenge

Yeah I'll go with that. Go for the throat is so much better anyways. But I was thinking if your decks any good why would you even need kill spells? Surely any solid build can either a; smash it's way through the enemy defences or b; take total control of the game and lockdown their options. But that's just my humble opinion.

That's fair enough, I just find it dangerous keeping something like that in you hand for such a long time. I guess you could activate her big ability a turn early and just let her die if you had another waiting. Just as you never know what your opponent's got and your next draw could be rotting rats or whatevs. I guess ya could just hold on to that a few turns too anyway. You can keep vatting your creatures anyway I suppose.

Fair enough. I like the changes you have made though. Those rotting rats are quite good. Maybe chuck another two in for the dismembers, which you probably don't need with the zeniths and gftts. Also, have you tried black cat? I don't know what you'd take out now you've cleaned the deck so much, but random discard to rub it in when you zenith all their creatures sounds fearce! And yeah ok two lilianas but, if you can afford it, how about swapping one for liliana of the veil? The only reason I say this (apart from that a liliana of the veil would kick ass) is that there's never much point having two legendary cars in one deck. You can't play one if you've got the other out, and besides the do the same thing anyway. Veil it up man.
I don't know, maybe just cause some of the few decent cards used to be mine, and I was trying to help him build it I guess. But as you say, apparently he doesn't care. Typical. His deck goes top and he doesn't even check it out. Sucks cause we play quite a bit and when I first told him he seemed stoked. Meh. Anyway it's been replaced from top spot now. Someone seemed to have had the same idea as me and decided to list all the shittest cards ever. Maybe they got inspiration from this deck lol. :P
I know, believe me, I've asked him to do it like a thousand times in the last few days. In one of the earlier posts I did say the cards I know that he has added, there may be more too. Ok, here's what we could do, which might make this deck being up here not such a waste of time... Instead of saying what to add in to the deck and simply listing great zombie cards, how about everyone who looks at this tries to say what is wrong with the deck and which are the cars that really need to come out, pronto. Go ahead, tear it up, it's shit as you've all said, so let's try to make it a little bit less shit by naming and shaming the absolute worst cards in there and identifying pointless would-be combos. This deck needs an ass kicking, who's with me?
You're welcome. I see you've hit up the ravenous rats idea. Nice one! Make sure to add that final caress. If I were you, I wouldn't even bother running megrim as well (same thing for more mana)! You could probably drop down to 20 lands as well. If you do this though, it might be worth getting some 1 drops to speed you a little bit. There are a ton of discard spells for 1 mana, but I prefer stuff that'll stay on the board a little longer like quest for the nihil stone, gnat miser, and the rack. These could replace distress, the extra swamps, and even maybe take out (and sell) another liliana and/or one or two of the quandarys. Another excellent 1 drop in any black deck of course is dark ritual, which would speed up your game enormously. You should try it...
Yeah, again, sorry. Please read the comments before you post, this deck isn't even like this anymore. It's still a work in progress, but my friend is looking for advice on turning it into a zombie tribal deck. Not sure why I'm still answering his comments for him but he STILL hasn't been on vault yet to do it himself, even though I told him like two days ago to get on here and i've reminded him a dozen times to come on since.
Useful advice. Assuming that will (that's his name) is never going to come on here and read his own deck comments, I will pass this info on. I agree with you on Mikaeus and skin render, and if he does want to run all those weakening spells like you talked about, it's good to know that there are better versions of those. I had never heard of dead weight or spiteful shadows, for example. I think one copy of endless ranks of the dead would be good too, but first we need to up the number of zombies. Maybe he could goes halfs on em for a set of four with my other mate who runs zombies, which would make it more cost effective. I suppose having two would increase the chances of it coming up each game anyway, right man?

Three vess, isn't that a bit much? And why 3 megrim and 3 caress, surely add a caress, look at your ratio of 2 drops to 3 drops. Interesting use of mimic vat though. Why not add a set of ravenous rats (dirt cheap), it'd go with the 'comes into play' theme, and even your mana curve out a bit too. Otherwise, great deck though.
