Using the Relentless Rats to just swarm your opponent is one option, but using the Prototype Portal to coy the Basilisk Collar and Loxodon Warhammer can give them all lifelink to give you almost unlimited life. Sacrificing rats for Lord of the Pit and then bringing them back with Liliana Vess will make your army even more super powered... ridiculously over powered.

there is two new cards from scars of mirrodon i would love to use against this deck.....memrocide and nihil spellbomb. merocide on rats and then pop the spellbomb and they are all removed from play.
