Very Simple.I wanted to make a deck that wasn't a bagillion bucks. So simple commons and uncommons.Heroic rushing with easy battle tricks such as Giant Growth and Retraction Helix to trigger heroics and help give the edge against expensive enchantments.Also the Bident to force your opponents creatures into battle against your heroicly pumped creatures.

That did! Thanks. Wouldn't something along the lines of Mizzium Skin be better for a one drop blue instant? You'll be needing that tap in order to attack, plus a bit extra toughness and hexproof isn't unwelcome.
