I've been playing around with a decklist I saw that Brian Kibler posted on SCG. It's a pretty solid decklist, though it's not as fast as I was trying to run it(it would definitely lose the race compared to R/B zombies and R/B vamps). With this deck I find it very important to stick your your big spells, causing the addition of cavern of souls(counter filled control decks seem to be a big player where I'm competing). Furthermore, after sideboard this deck has the potential win over a lot of the other popular decklist.

I simply get a feeling that it might take too long for you to deal enough dmg, but I haven't really examined it that close...
Yeah, thats what I was thinking, but for the colors I was shooting for, this is pretty solid. Even though the damage doesn't hit fast enough, this deck has late game appearances, such as Garruk and l8 game scavenge. I'm considering adding 1 Grim Backwoods.
