Mardu Strike updated

Updates on the deck:
The deck was suppose to be token based but after some testing 1/1 creature with no upside and dependent on other creatures/spell to have value can't quite make it in current standard. However, I discovered that I won a lot more games through burn and lost games due to the damage done by my lands. So i decided to make it to a burn oriented deck.

Some changes:

4 x Mardu charm underperformed. Things you will wish it can kill when in play:
1. Planeswalkers
2. Siege Rhino
3. Stormbreath Dragon
4. Polukranos, World Eater
5. Arbor Colossus
Replaced it with 4 x Crackling Doom. It can kill the biggest creature they have and take 2 damage as well. Great value.

4 x Raise the Alarm underperformed. 1/1 vs. Sylvan Caryatid, Courser of Kruphix, Siege Rhino. Replaced by 2 x Murderous Cut and 2 x Bile Blight. With more spells, its easy to delve Murderous Cut while paying one (B). Bile Blight is just a hedge against other token decks and i can kill most early threats like opposing Goblin Rabblemaster, Fleecemane Lion, and other x/3 creatures.

After some testing Bloodsoaked Champion + Butcher of the Horde was great when its online but crap w/o butcher. So i decided to borrow some ideas from jeskai tempo and 4 x Seeker of the Way moving 4 x Bloodsoaked Champion in the side board. With tons of spells, it quite easy to make Seeker a 3/3 or 4/4 life link
creature. This also solves the pain land issue.

I'm still testing my side board. However, i was surprised how well Deflecting Palm performed (another jeskai tempo card). I killed an opponent with his own 9/9 Polukranos. Gives another 4 to 5 damage burn for just 2 mana in certain matches.


I'll probably run this deck for this weeks FNM before going back to my Abzan Deck. the 4xBloodsoaked Champion will probably be change to 4 x Searing Blood if a lot of aggro show up.
