Mold shamblers can be interchanged with acidic slimes depending on your taste or desire to take out planeswalkers. 7/23/10: Placed 15th with initial starting point on this decks design at FNM out of 37 attending. 8/6/10: Placed 22nd with first revision of the deck at FNM with 37 attending. Mostly I just got mana screwed far to often. Have since added additional mana ramp. 8/14/10: Placed 3rd at FNM out of 40 folks attending. Good luck, good pairings, and deck performed well above expectations. Final Thoughts: While fun, green's toolbox for competitive play is fairly lacking. It just goes to show that while mono-green can't always guarantee a top 8 spot in a tournament, it certainly can get there. Just be prepared for a tough trek.
