This is a concept I've been through a couple of times along the years, and decided to give it a spin once more. Mono green spirits quite heavily focus on +1/+1 counters, and have some slight death, manaramp, and spellcasting subthemes.Petalmane Baku and Strangleroot Geist are very good early drops, with the Baku slowly ramping up mana and the Geist attacking relentlessly. The geist unfortunately has a bit of an "non-bo" with the Briarknit Kami, one of the most essential creatures in this deck, but it still works wonders while having the right creature type.As mentioned Briarknit Kami is a powerhouse here, allowing you to dish +1/+1 counters among your creatures pretty much any time you cast anything. Its larger mana cost and smaller initial body unfortunately mean you have to play it a little bit slower, but nevertheless will provide you with the much-needed buff ups (just remember not to target Strangleroot Geist prior to its first death)!Outside of the Kami, Haru-Onna can constantly generate card advantage while Jugan and even Yew Spirit can work wonders as win cons in this deck. In addition to these, Invoke the Ancients as well as even Unchecked Growth can provide you with the punch needed to win.If you feel like anything is missing, take a gander at the sideboard for options.
