Deck Description

Hunker down: we are going in tanky-style!

This is a Budget Deck (BD for short). It is meant primarily for casual play, and its estimated mid value is aimed to land between 10 and 20 US dollars at most. Take this detail into consideration when browsing the deck!

I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills.

So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.

How to Play

'Golgari tanky-boys' is a deck tech that was pretty much normalized back in Innistrad: Crimson Vow. I think this is my first spin on the tech, very much within budget!

So, get ready to drop some tanky-boys onto the field. Creatures such as Dune Beetle, Disowned Ancestor and Archers' Parapet can help you secure yourself early game, while cards such as Ancient Lumberknot, Treefolk Umbra and Assault Formation are your main game-winners. Also keep in mind that Shirei and Kheru Bloodsucker can win you the game together as well, provided you have the time to hunker down in peace!

Remember that even if your key cards hit your graveyard, Deadly Brew and Regenesis can fetch them right back! All this combined with a surprisingly big amount of removal cards (12 total, if Blighted Fen included), you'll be able to master life and death in the process of creating all these high wall fellas!

As usual, the cards provided within the sideboard offer you some alternative strategies against alternative opponents. Consider swapping some into the deck between games if your gamegroup demands it!

Pros:
+ Can turn immovable objects into unstoppable forces!
+ A lot of removal means you'll be able to control the game easier!

Cons:
- Requires some setup to pull off its strategies.
- Quite dependant on three key cards: Ancient Lumberknot, Treefolk Umbra and/or Assault Formation. Try to keep them around!
