Deck Description

Imposing while ironclad?
Maybe so!

This is a Budget Deck (BD for short). It is meant primarily for casual play, and its estimated mid value is aimed to land between 10 and 20 US dollars at most. Take this detail into consideration when browsing the deck!

I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills.

So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.

How to Play

This deck takes a new spin on a technique that's been around since original Mirrodin.
Mono white equipment!

Equip a dude or two, then take a swing at your opponents. It is easy to begin your aggro early on, and you can keep up the tempo with little difficulty, provided your opponent doesn't have an endless supply of blockers up their sleeve.

Need ways to tweak up the deck? Check out the cards in the sideboard:
they can offer you some clever ways to outsmart some peskier opponents!

Cons:
- Dislikes instant-speed removal.
- Dislikes constant blockers: look out for ways to outmaneuver them!

Deck discussion for BD: Ironclad

With Brass Squire in the deck you could go for Colossus Hammer.
Instead of Shelter you could use Emerge Unscathed. Protection on this turn and draw vs. protection on this turn and protection (Unblockable) on the next turn.
As for the lands, most equipment decks I have built use 18 lands, tough with the peak at cmc 3 I would go for 20. Still gives you 2 slots you could use.
If you want to go for a second colour, take a look at red, there are some great cards to find (e.g. Champion of the Flame, Reyav, Master Smith, Galvanic Blast, Shrapnel Blast)

Else I can only suggest the more or less "standard" creatures and equipments for such decks:
Auriok Sunchaser, Sunspear Shikari, Stone Haven Outfitter
Cranial Plating, Bone Saw, Short Sword/ Honed Khopesh, Bladed Pinions/ Cobbled Wings (Something I love, because it let's you weapon platform fly over your opponents defence)

[[Horn of Valhalla // Ysgard's Call]].... thank you, now I will have this catchy song in my head the whole day ;)

Thank you for the suggestions!

Colossus Hammer is a bit of a niche-card IMO, fitting only decks that can constantly pull off those free-equippers. 2x Brass Squire might not be enough for my tastes.

Also, I specifically chose Shelter as the protection-card for this deck because of its card draw side effect. This deck doesn't have effects that grant card advantage straight away, so I wanted to at least add a cantrip or two into it.

Some of the creature-ideas you provided were good - I think I'll add a couple of the Outfitters in!
