Do not mistake this deck to be focusing on the 'Ally' creature type.I merely decided to craft a series of ally-colored decks with a lot of newbie friendliness! If you are unfamiliar with what "ally-colored" means, let me explain it to you:Since the game of MTG is separated into five different colors, each and every one of them provides the game with their own unique aspects. The colors can be aligned into a "color wheel" which explains their co-operations and clashes with other colors. This doesn't mean that enemy-colored decks cannot be made, but the themes and synergies between allied colors are often easier to grasp. Utilize this permissive strategy to allow yourself to both attack and defend your backlines. Support these creatures with handy enchantments and you've got yourself quite a nice package to unleash terror to the hearts of more aggressive players!The sideboard offers solutions to a player looking for possible ways to develop. Including 3x Pulse of Murasa and 4x Unflinching Courage while removing 2x Gallant Cavalry, 4x Explore and 1x Collective Blessing, allows you to shift this deck to become extremely resistant against burn-type decks as well. Alternatively, adding 4x Murasa Rootgrazer and 2x Zetalpa, Primal Dawn and removing 3x Brushstrider, 2x Solid Footing and 1x Segovian Angel shifts this deck to a more late-game-oriented one. Lastly, removing 3x Brushstrider, 2x Gallant Cavalry, 2x Conclave Cavalier and 1x Collective Blessing and supplementing 4x Murasa Rootgrazer, 2x Assault Formation and 2x Unflinching Courage makes this deck very much toughness-focused.Before we head into the statistics, let's see what a player needs to know before playing this deck: - Vigilance. The big obvious keyword-ability. Vigilance on a creature means the creature can attack while still remaining untapped, so you can use it to block enemy attacks as well on their turn. Handy! - Flying. A flying creature cannot be blocked by creatures without flying: you can dish out damage straight through their defenses! - Lifelink. When a creature with lifelink deals damage, you gain that much life points! - Flash. A card with flash can be played at any time - even on your opponent's turn, provided you have the mana to do so!
