Deck Description

Welcome to the NorthernWarlord's Budget Decks -series!

These decks are meant to inspire you and your playgroup to create simple, cheap decks and challenge each other! Can you and your friends find out who can dominate the battlefield by spending as little as possible on your cards?

The main idea of each budget deck is to have a medium budget of 10 to 20 dollars (sideboard included). Feel free to leave card suggestions down in the comment section below! Also, if you want to see a specific budget deck in the near future, let me know and I most likely can cook up one for ya!

How to Play

Some players just want to crack some skulls. Can you blame them? Some games just would take SOOOO long! Like, what's the point of playing a long game anyway? Who wouldn't rather lose straight away or win by a long shot?

Be aggressive, be assertive! Drop a lot of early game dudes, then start swinging and don't stop until there are no foes left!

Creatures:
As mentioned, drop as many little fellas as you can onto the field! Once they are in, start beating up people! Some dudes like Rimrock Knight can also provide you with handy abilities!

Instants and Sorceries:
This deck runs quite a many snappy spells. Use them to outmaneuver your opponents and take the game for yourself! Instant-speed buffs can easily help you beat down foes in combat, while cards like Blossoming Defense can be used as a reaction to your opponent's killing spells, avoiding them completely!

Enchantments:
Wild Defiance is the ace up your sleeve! Most cards you cast can or should target your own creatures, so you can easily use them to either pump up some extra damage or make up for some nasty combat strategies!

Sideboard:
The sideboard includes cards that help you fight specific opponents. Play against artifacts or enchantments? Reclamation Sage will do. Need cards to play the long game? Consider adding Tormenting Voice and/or Regrowth. Need more removal against enemy creatures? Clear Shot can be a great help!

Deck discussion for BD: The Bully (Beginner)

+1
With Wild Defiance only at 0.86$ average (I nearly choked my lunch seeing this) I would use it 4 times in this deck.
I'm no big fan of Epic Confrontation and the "fight" mechanic. Domri's Ambush or Rabid Bite are more to my liking because your creature is safe from your opponents damage. Wild Defiance lessens this risk but why take it anyway when there are alternatives?
I have used Markov Blademaster in my vampire deck, but this deck ha a whole ton (nearly 40% of it's cards) of removal and made sure you could actually reach your opponent with the Blademaster. Without proper support it's an expensive 1/1 with double strike that gets killed way to easily. You could replace it with Prophetic Flamespeaker or Storm Fleet Swashbuckler.
