Deck Description

Watch your step, these woods are treacherous...

This is a Budget Elder Dragon Highlander deck (BEDH for short). It is meant for the Elder Dragon Highlander format, a.k.a. Commander. If you are not familiar with the format, I'll link it below for you.

I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills.

So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.

How to Play

Boom! A deathtouch creature! Boom! A dead enemy creature!
It feels good to be a douchebag, doesn't it?

This deck utilizes some "silly synergies" by dropping Halana onto the field, then bombing a constant barrage of deathtouch-creatures all around to secure the title of "being the biggest asshole" around. Falthis is here pretty much just for her color, but can also be used to make Halana into a dangerous attacker (especially combined with an equipment or two, or perhaps even a proper instant card), not to mention a couple of fight/forced block effects!

Once the dust has settled and enemy creatures have been killed, maintain a constant beatdown with your creatures in order to prevent your opponent from pretty much doing anything. Also remember that numerous instant-speed responses and graveyard-retrieval cards are likely to help you prevent your opponents from removing creatures of your own!

Statistics: (out of 5)
- Deck Speed: <><> (How quick the deck is?)
- Creature Focus: <><><><><> (How much this deck relies on creatures?)
- Creature Size: <><> (How big are the main creatures of this deck?)
- Card Synergy: <><><> (Do the cards of the deck help out each other well?)
- Card Value: <><><> (How much card advantage can you get out of your cards?)
- Level of Complexity: <><><> (How hard this deck is to properly play?)

Pros:
+ Almost all of your creatures have an additional "Pay an additional 2 to destroy target creature" strapped unto them!
+ A lot of ways to react to / disturb enemy actions!
+ Quite nasty in 1v1 games!

Cons:
- Outside of a lot of one-for-one type of deals, this deck doesn't have all that much card advantage.
- Takes its time to win.
- You may paint yourself as "the big bad guy" in multiplayer games. Watch out!
