Magic 12, 14, 15. For Sengir Vampire.

Hypnotic Specter is a nice Magic 10 creature. But expensive considering Northy already has Duress and Mind Rot do the trick.

Doom Blade for creature destruction.
Lifelink with Tendrils and Child of Night.
Banshee and Nightmare for power.
Skeletons for chump blocking.
Draw spells/top decking prevention with Sign in Blood.
Search engine (and i thought the tutor was much more expensive!) with Diabolic Tutor.

Northy, you put all the main/core ingredients into your creations, keeping in mind budget, and make very solid decks. Another like for me.

Royal Assassin maybe?

Good luck!

But good suggestions if he were willing to step away from all the cards having to be M10

Good argument, RoboRisu.

I see both sides. Your side, Unholy Strength is going to provide some power to his creatures.Imagine Child of Night with Unholy Strength. Lifelink to the max. Or imagine Unholy Strength on Skeletons. Chump block then regenerate.

But i see Northys side too. True, he doesn't seem to have any one card that is better than the other...but if he needs a disrupt card he can get one, if he needs a creature hate card, he can get it, if he needs life, he can get it, if he needs cards, he can get it. It is very versatile.

Thank you Possum for suggestions, but as you can see, it is made completely with M10 cards.

Wow ... M10 black. I believe you enjoy playing black a bit too much ... ;)

And shouldn't the title be "Back in Black"?
