Deck discussion for Budget Decks: Gigantic Rage

Me attack with big scary giant. Giant smash face of enemy, is good strategy. I is approve of deck, who need fancy spell when you have giant!

technically it should say destroy 1 non-creature permanent. and since he gets angrier/stronger as he's hurt wouldn't deal x damage where x is 10 minus the number of counters on him make more sense? still, lol

Technically the card is fake and was found in Google, so effects mean nothing because it's not legal. Technically...

hey NorthernWarlord you should drop the cultivate for kodamas reach. If this is a budget deck then kodamas reach will do the same thing for less money same mana cost.

What about Elvish Handservant?

I actually had it in the original plan, but I removed it since I didn't see a purpose of semi-small late game Elf. Guess I can sideboard just in case...

hey north,
Can you build a standard deck with Whisperwood elemental focused on morph/manifest, also it can be $60 or less.
Thnx if you can.

60 or less in standard is pushing it. Especially for a deck containing a bomb like Whispereood Elemental. She's arguably the best card in FRF

id personally drop out the Urd as it doesnt appear to be needed. I would add in a 4th stinkdrinker and 3rd cultivate as mana is going to be your main concern. I think the drinker is your best friend and cultivate keeps your skyshroud rangers more relevant for longer

Its always entertaining to look at your budget decks. You really seem to know a lot of cards ;)
Always wondered how Giants are supposed to work with their high mana cost.

The cultivate vs Skyshroud Range is awesome.
Wonder if he enables you to play Gruul Turf?

Obelisk of Urd seems weird to me. Its really nice in elf decks, which this one partly is, but your giants don't need it and it does not help accelerate your plays...
Also, I wonder how the burn components work. Seems like if you control Giants, you wont need them anymore and if not you can't use them. If they work though, Blood (Flesh/Blood) could be another option.
What you think of Taurean Mauler or cheaper Fire-Belly Changeling. Would they make your plays work earlier?

I think what the deck would need most is some consistency fix. Something like Faithless Looting. (But you can't utilize your graveyard in this deck)

All in all again a solid deck.

p.s.
Would you mind having a look at my outlast deck?

Hey, Northy! I have a new budget deck that I'd like some feedback on:

And I feel your pain with being big. I am also REALLY tall and I make everyone feel short

you should put prey upon 1 green and target creature fight another. it cost 1 less and your giant are big enough to suivive and kill enbemy. prey upon better than crush underfoot for me
