Deck Description

Are you bored? Does Magic: The Gathering feel old and vapid? Got any useless bucks in your bank account? Ladies and Gentlemen, I have solution.
Use your bank account on nearest MTG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!
The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and the deck's value is meant to be low!

How to Play

Do you happen to be a new player who wishes to play Blue-Black-colored deck against their friends but doesn't have any good ideas?
Don't worry! That's why this deck is here! Filled with cheap and easy-to-understand cards, Budget Decks: Newbie's Dimir is just what you are looking for!


The main plan of this deck is to force your opponent to drop cards into their graveyard from their hand or library. After that you try to take as much advantage as you can with cards like Rise from the Grave, Spelltwine and Wight of Precinct Six.

@ mtgblackman: If you now, or think how to know, how to make a deck better then say it, otherwise such comment's won't help anyone.

As for the deck: I would remove "Shriekgeist" to get some evasive spells, like "Artful Dodge", into this deck. "Dimir Cutpurse" or "Wight of Precinct Six" won't have much effect if they are stopped by a simple 1/1.
When working with discard "Dream Salvage" could be worth a look, though it might need some explanation on the difference between mill and discard, for a new player.

This is really good Northern! Coincidencely, im making a mill deck too! But, its mono blue. Jace's erasure and Sphinx's tutelage and a draw engine are great together!
