Deck discussion for Budget Decks: Paragon of Magic

This could be the magic part of a might vs. magic duel deck.

I feel like I'm a broken record here ... but cipher spells would be great here. Especially since your wizards are all about evasion and stalling tactics. Imagine a stolen identity here ....

Oh, and no echo mage? Really? :)

411 post and 90% of them are begging/spamming people's other decks. It's pathetic and childish. Thus, you are a child.

1) Learn to put together a comprehensive sentence, then someone might take your argument seriously.

2) Until you actually contribute to the community, you are pathetic.

3) I may not be able to tell you what to do with your account, but the community clearly is. Notice all the -1, -2, -3, etc.? That would be the community saying your account is, as of right now, a waste of space.

Could you please point out what part of "guys go see my new deck heliod's army #tokens" is having a conversation with NorthernWarlord? And am I to assume you were "clearly talking" to the 75+ other people whose decks you spammed with the exact same copy-pasted post?

It seems you take issue with being called out.

wow guys that is ashame just throwing words like f**k and childish is not going to solve this problem at all
1.kingcobrael23 is just a kid so he doesn't know that much people
2.surewhynot don't be so harsh on the kid he just wanted to tell everyone about his deck.it isn't a big deal
3. kingcobrael23 just chill out and be mature about this. you decks re cool so is surewhynot.
4. guys I know we can comment on each others deck and say this person is better than this person but doesn't mean we cant be friends that is why we all play magic for one purpose is to build decks and play with friends. mtg vault isn't only about u and your deck is better than everyone else its the whole mtg vault community. we should be one and not saying mean words to each other. that how we become divided with each other and saying all this mean and harsh words. be nice to one another and make new friends :)))))))))))))))

I get that man, but believe me, spamming people's decks is not the way to do it. I'm not the only person it'll bother, and contrary to what you might think, I'm relatively nice compared to some of the others who would chew you out =]

If you really want to get noticed, and get your name out there, offer advice on decks. Find decks that you know a thing or two about and give your two cents. THEN ask that person to return the favor. I'm sure they'll be happy to. Or, honestly, just join in on a conversation. Sometimes if you just pay attention to what people are talking about and jump in, that's all you need. Give and get man, give and get.

The hashtag thing though...Eh...It just drives me crazy haha =/

I'll upvote your comments to make up for the rep.

Please go bug Puschkin at the deck Puschlin Please Help Me! ... thst way no one will downvote you for asking for help, at the least.

Cobra, in my experience, people are far less annoyed by deck advertising if you take the time to write with proper grammer and contribute something to a deck ... like a joke or specific card, for example. That's how I get by with it.

Another good way to increase the willingness of other users to help you out is by helping them out. After a while, you will find friends. If Puschkin, Sorin, Northernwarlord, Jessie, or Kazzong asked me for help, I would give it without thinking.

Finally, I leave you with a brilliant idea from my friend Jessie. Go to someone's profile page and comment on a deck with NO comments or likes. Then openly admit you could use their help. Use their name and try to compliment them in some way like "I see your mana base is solid, can you help me with mine on this deck? I would really appreciate it.

Good luck, and happy deck building!

+SunTitan

Beautifully said man. I admire you for standing up for a new member who made an honest mistake. I do not have a medal to give you, but I WILL check your decks out, maybe even follow you.

+ Sorin

I understand where you are coming from. I loathe spammers. How Northy keeps his cool, I'll never know. I do not blame you at all for (slightly) overreacting.

Oh, and have you found Collamus yet?

So...the point of the deck is to draw a lot and stall, while attacking with a few creatures given flying....right?

Fits blue really well, although I'm not sure if I myself can play a deck like this (kinda too simple-headed for elaborate tactics like that lol), but good deck nevertheless XD

Good that you shared me a part of your knowledge. Thank you.
...and if I must admit by myself, this is by the far the worst of these five Paragon decks.

Where is the win condition? All I see is a few weak creatures with evasion. Blue is supposed to stall until something wins these weak creatures are not going to win against any half decent deck. You have a good base for a deck but you need something that will end the game. I usually use something like Stormtide Leviathan or blightsteel colossus.

I suggest adding something like Lorthos, the Tidemaker, its cheap and it does the job of winning.

I believe that your blue creatures will control and give u the upper hand in some situations but they're all so weak and if the opponent tries to full out attack you, you might end of losing a lot of the creatures that benefited you. I would suggest maybe fog bank or some type of wall for defending or maybe a copy target creature card to copy a powerful creature the opponent controls. But thats just my opinion.

This is just my personal preferance, but adding 1 or 2 venser's journals wouldn't be bad all the cards from the previous turn you drew would just boost your life up a good bit just incase you are getting hit harder and faster then you can block or counter. and with the journal you have a quicker chance of no max hand size. Tamiyo would be a perfect match with sleep, well this whole deck in fact. I also agree with duckie, add a lorthos or two for a big creature that can tap a bunch of other creatures, perfect giant for this deck. But other than those few changes i still like the concept of this deck. I will probably end up making it! thank you!
