Had this not been necessary to stay in standard, I'd have totally suggested Garruk's Companion over the Centaur...but oh well :)On another note, maybe sideboard artifact/enchantment removal and more flier removal?
I agree with removal, skyreaping and corrosive gale are good flier removal cards.Garruk's companion would have been good too, but swordwise centaur isn't that bad.

Wow this is a really cool deck. I like looking at these standard budget decks, especially since my main deck is so expensive. You're really good at making these, I wish I could make decks that ran as smoothly as yours. By the way, could you look at my RUG deck please? I think there are some wrinkles that need smoothing out.
