It is a bit slow, but I'd say that even brightest diamonds have their flaws.-Prophet of Kruphix is brilliant card. Especially for this deck.-Horizon Chimera can take down small attacker with its flash ability. Otherwise it is nice flyer that heals you slowly.-Voyage's End and Rapid Hybridization are both good removal spells.

If you have problem with mana you could use something like Axebane Guardian that pair pretty well with other defender in this deck

Actually, that is not a bad idea.
I'd choose Hover Barrier over Murmuring Phantasm same cost and it has flight.
Okay.(By the way: Hover Barrier costs 1 more to cast.)
