Because I like the fact that the Knight is one helluva beatstick. I can add Fusion Elemental to be an optional commander though.

I was like 'waiiitt...but..EDH requires a legendary commander'...until I realized it was pauper and that probably can't happen in pauper.Pauper: you can use all cards that have been ever printed as a common (thus no legendaries since they at all at least uncommon or higher I believe)But a great deck. Never thought about playing pauper in EDH. Tell me how it works out! XD
