Deck Description

Starter Budget -series is variation of my famous(?) Budget Decks -series.
In this series, I attempt to create decks that go great for starters:
They do not have extremely valuable or complicated cards. Most of them are simple commons and uncommons.
Though, this doesn't mean that these decks aren't threat. In right hands (and with some practice, of course,) they can overwhelm very tough opponents.
These decks are meant for those who have just dived into the mysterious depths of Magic: The Gathering, or to those people who like simple and cheap decks. Or to just anyone!
Budget is meant to be low! (Less than 15 bucks.)

So cheap, so simple, so much fun.

(Remember: If you are new player, do not be afraid to ask if you have questions. Northy has always time for newbies!)

How to Play

NOTE: This is a part of three decks GreatMasterZ ordered. Before you comment, you might want to check out the others too:

As mentioned, inspired by GreatMasterZ.

Trinity #3 will try to teach newbies the ways of red midrange decks. The main point is to start casting creatures early and not stopping until your opponent has been torn to pieces.

While playing this deck, it is important to understand the following keywords:

-Battle Cry
(Creatures with Battle Cry buff up their fellow attackers by +1/+0 when they attack.)

-Haste
(Creatures with Haste can attack the turn they enter the battlefield. They do not suffer from summoning sickness.)

-Flying
(Creatures with flying are unblockable to all creatures without Flying or Reach abilities.)

-Double Strike
(Creatures with Double Strike deal their combat damage twice, first before other creatures, then at the same time with the others. Handy for taking out small creatures without losing your creatures.)

Deck discussion for Starter Budget: Trinity #3

Hordeling outburst is better than goblin rally. Yeah it's one less token, but it's also 2 less mana. A mana that could turn your inferno titan into an 8/6

It's also a dollar more though. Then again, it may not be a bad idea given that the deck only costs $9

Exactly. It's still well within budget constraints, plus if you bought a lot of Khans them you will likely have a few already anyways

I just thought that the Rally curves pretty nicely just after Ogre Battledriver.

It does, but so does an outburst followed by a Dragon fodder

If you're considering these maybe you should also consider skirk prostpecter.
