I had decided against pyromancers because of the fact that the only real time i am casting another copy of a burn is when i am stacking up lethal burn at the end. i tend to hold most burns except for searing blaze and staggershock, and they wouldn't be enough to put an ascension online. i was considering fire servant, seeing as it has a very similar, if not the same, effect in mono red burn, but it was too costy
i like the list of spells you have going here except staggershock. its too expensive in my opinion, and could easily play 2-3 spells in its place. I think that you should throw some valakuts in there to deal damage with lands in a longer battle, and besides that maybe add some reverberates to stack.
