Oh also, I wanted to keep all five colors in the deck just to emphasize the "ragtag bunch of misfits" part of the theme :P

So between Excavator and the Raptor, which do you suggest ditching? I may have gone overboard on the Raptor with 4 copies just cause I wanted a flying creature.

Wow, Xenograft.. that... that is a crazy crazy card. I'm kind of leery of building inifinite loops for casual decks, because none of my local group does things like that. But still that's kinda insane :P Thanks for pointing it out dagbaker!

Thanks slothosaurus!

I think I'll decide against the dual lands. Almost every creature has a single colored mana cost, so I feel like the Ancient Ziggurats and the Evolving Wilds are enough to get me the one color I need to cast whatever I have in my hand.

As for he the Blademaster, you're right, he is really awesome. It's just that he's the only thing that costs WW instead of say, 1W. I'm kind of leery of using more of him because of the higher difficulty in getting him out than any of my other allies.

Huh, this is a very educational deck for me. I have a habit of building fast decks, so it's nice to see a well built slower one that can last. The spellskite is very illuminating. Plus your combos are just plain nasty :P Great work!
