The simple idea is to scavenge the death's shadow with varolz as early as possible and rush for the win. but if the agressive start is not there it's possible to play control with huge support from removal spells as putrefy, maelstrom pulse, and black sun's zenith.

you should try adding some nyx weevers they are great at getting stuff in graveyards

I have been thinking about that for some time...and maybe even swithing creakwood liege and blood artist's out for em.
probably blood artist because you don't have much that allows you to sacrifice and almost all your cards benefit from self milling and you only have 2 self mill cards. So my suggestion is that you add 4 nyx weavers and some card s with dredge.
Nice deck! It's pretty odd though that you're combining scavenge with cards that take advantage of the number of creatures in your graveyard. I actually have 2 similiar decks, wich is like this deck split in two, one based of the number of creatures in your graveyard and one scavenge.:) And you're also missing one card. The deck is at 59.
i like to play with a deck that has many ways to win. and yes deck is under construction again.
