Yeah, I thought the bubble matrix would be great for your build so you can block just about anything while doing all your damage with your critters. I would add the Armadillo Cloak if you can splash white. It is a great damage booster and life gain card.

What about adding Bubble Matrix instead of Thran Foundry? I used to have a deck like this. I used bubble matrix so I could use my mana generators to block also. Might also want to add a Wall of Glare if you want to really piss off the enemy.
