massive damage and card disruption early on with some card advantage of your own coming from dark confidant leaves your opponent with very few options, i played against a fantastic mono red burn deck at fnm a while ago and this is my version of that with a little black tossed in to spice things up a bit! atualy the black is in there for dark confidant because the biggest problem burn decks have is running out of cards so he provides huge card advantage without too much life loss due to the low average cmc of your cards.
