its a pretty good deck i think, overall. but the only theme here is really just the snakes. is the plan just to boost them all with the legendary creatures?

Yes, the main idea is to get the legendaries on the table, so your snakes hit harder.
Try Ohran Viper or Mire Boa and get Sosukes Summons up to 4. Okina, Temple to Grandfathers might be good for you legendaries.
I have a snake deck myself, I'll post it up. But, the point of snakes really, are token production and "Stun" (Not untapping next turn)
how about doubling season?
I haven't thought about Doubling Season yet, that's a good idea combined with the Summons. Thanks for the constructive input.
Try Neko-Te + Viridian Longbow/Hankyu for perma-tapping creatures as long as Neko-Te stays on the battlefield. Great for a snake "stun" deck.
