Deck Description

Budget Mono Blue aggro.

How to Play

This deck is made to remove threats and stall the game, while dropping bombs such as:
Air Servant to control the skies, Clone to create another cool creature, or Domestication to steal an opponents creature.
This deck has surprisingly a lot of removal for a mono-blue deck.

Deck discussion for Budget: Mono Blue Aggro

When I see this I think of Sphinx of Jwar Isle. Cancel, Mana Leak, Counterspell, Remand or any counter would be good really. Echoing Turth, into the Roil, perhaps Boomerang.

Nice suggestions, but this is a standard deck that doesn't include M13 and Innistrad.

IS this a standard deck ?
Warden of Evos Isle would fit nice here if your looking to pump out some flyers. Rapid Hybridization can be use on a cloudfin raptor to give you a nice 3/3 creature. Some judge's Familiar gives you an extra creature has well has some early game counter. If this deck isn't standard, well then there would be a lot more you could do with it.

honestly I don't see this as an aggro deck if you are planning to stall your opponents and only have 8 creatures but it has good logic behind, but the mana curve is crazy. i dont know if this will help you but you can take a look at this deck I made. its also an aggro mono blue budget deck. http://www.mtgvault.com/strawhat07/decks/help-my-little-nivmagus/

You're right, it's not really your typical aggro deck, but you don't really expect a mono blue deck to have this type of layout.

hmm.. how you typically play this deck? honestly, I don't see how you'll play this deck among other decks existing in standard today. its too slow to become an aggro deck, it doesnit stall much to be a control deck, and it lacks situational cards to be tempo.

I see your point and I am completely open for suggestions.

okay, then we've got a lot of work to do.

air servant is well, terrible. a flying 4/3 body for 5? its too fragile and the ability is too high casting not to mention he himself is too high casting.

water servant is good. but if you can get aether ling? thats much much better, its price dropped down significantly so it wouldnt hurt your budget too much.

clone is also good, but situational so i don't think you can put it in the mainboard unless you have a really awesome creature in this deck that you wanna copy. even if you do, i dont see the point of playing a set in the deck you may wanna reduce that or move all of it to the sideboard. more suggestions later.. :)

EDIT: i just realized, all of your cards came from m14 except cyclonic rift. you may wanna look at some cards from the rtr block at least or even Innistrad and m13, if you dont mind some of them rotating this september.
