If the intended kill condition is to use Supreme Verdict and then take a swing, hexproof won't help you I'm afraid. Now if you could find a way to give your creatures shroud, something like Spiritual Asylum might work.

I see your point, good call. I play casual and with my friends, planeswalkers aren't a huge concern. Still, aside from something like Pithing Needle, Conscripts is a good contingency. Saw your comment elsewhere about Vamp cards, thought I take a look. I like that you have bats in the deck for the overall theme but there are better turn one drops: Pulse Tracker for example. Liliana just seems out of place here too. This deck isn't too bad. Nocturnus, to me, really only fits in a mono black deck. Even with a splash of red it could slow you down or worse, you to stall out if you hit a pocket of red. I would recommend either taking him out completely or at least reduce how many you have in the deck and sub in Bloodline Keeper. BK will pump out more vamps fairly quickly, and having tokens to soak up some hits from time to time is never a bad thing. Everything else looks solid though. I don't think Zealous Conscripts really fits the theme but hey, if it works, go with it.
Thanks! It's been a blast to play too. I saw someone else had put in a Mutagenic Growth in a similar deck. I may try that out in the future but for now I'm satisfied with it.
I like Redirect but I already have the 4 Misdirection in there and I can't tell you how many times it's saved me just being able to cast it for for discarding something else. True, it is an expensive card and that's often discouraging, with many cards, when trying to build a new deck! Were I building this from the ground up, Redirect would make an excellent substitute. Thanks for the suggestion.
I like Mutagenic Growth, I may have to add this to my own Infect deck. Good work.
