Deck discussion for Funny Stuffy

Official rulebook entry, section three - turn structure.
"300.3. When a phase ends (but not a step), any unused mana left in a player’s mana pool is lost. That player loses 1 life for each one mana lost this way. This is called mana burn. Mana burn is loss of life, not damage, so it can’t be prevented or altered by effects that affect damage. This game action doesn’t use the stack."

Aside from the redirection of mana burn not working, the Stuffy Doll - Pariah combo is nice.

yea mana burn cant be used for this. but have you thought about making your stuffy doll green? just get pariah on it and shield of the oversoul all damage dealt to you is dealt to it and its indestructable.. then you just fill the deck with counter spells and burn spells, also i like the dual lands that damage you in this deck there perfect. id take out the stalactites and elders though they are a good combo but id rather have my stuffy green and ccounterspells and burn more.

Thanks for the comments and many thanks for pointing out that mana burn can't be redirected. Btw, the Elder's just supposed to speed things that little bit up by throwing out a the top card into play if it's a creature if comboed up with the Stalactite (since it becomes a construct, treefolk, bird and elf at the same time). But yeah, I'll probably drop the 4 cards to make room for 4 Shivan Meteors (I rofl at paining for 4 red and putting 52 damage to the other player's head on hold for 3 turns!)

Too bad the new Shadowmoor mechanic wither pretty much neuters Stuffy Doll, one Puncture Bolt and he's done.

Guilty Conscience + Stuffy = I win. You can tap him for inf damage to your opponent if he's enchanted. Just a thought. And for redirecting creature damage try the en-Kor cards, they rock with stuffy. And honestly it is really hard to stop the wither damage, sorry. Stuffy met its match with shadowmoor.

Um, no it hasn't. You all have totally disregarded Greater Auramancy, now say sorry! Greater Auramancy states that all other enchantments have shroud and all enchanted creatures have shroud. Have 2 out and every enchantment and everything attached to one is shrouded including little cute Stuffy with his Pariah. Sure Stuffy's met it's match in Shadowmoor but in turn, Shadowmoor has provided Stuffy with that little bit more aid

The only problem you will have here are destruction spells that don't target. One primeval light and all your enchantments go bye because you not your enchantments are it's target. After playing that one damnation and all your creatures are gone. I haven't really thought of what you can do to combat that. Short of someone getting rid of your enchantments I think your deck is pretty solid against anything.
