This deck relies on critters for the pestilence effects and uses auras for life-gain and card-drawing engines. Pretty fun for multiplayer, but no slouch in head to head against less competitive decks. It uses some powerful cards, but mostly just in an effort to get a [[Thrashing Wumpus]], [[Plague Spitter]] or [[Squallmonger]] out with a [[Snake Umbra]] and [[Armadillo Cloak]] on it.

I will work on getting some more newer cards. I just started playing Magic again recently and don’t have anything that buffs creatures with indestructible.
I've been wanting to get my hands on a set of Thrashing Wumpus for a while now. I'm wanting to run mono black with Vampiric Link and Darksteel Plate. Also I think that tutor cards and Damnation would work well in a mono black Wumpus deck :?
That sounds like a good plan. Indestructibility would be a nice way to keep the Wumpus alive and let you activate it more times without killing itself.
