good combination of abilites. I might take a few of those ideas for my deck. check out my deck "Haunting Spirits" you might get more ideas.

Krovikan Whispers can be taken out and replaced with Binding Grasp. Why would you want to counter your ownspells and boomerang your own lands?

this is similar to a deck I've built and am revamping atm. The concept works wonders, my idea is to get as mank token creatures out and have the wilt-leaf liege buff them all up. The other idea I had was putting a Howl of the Night Pack in to get more tokens faster, then just copy them with Rhys the Redeemed. As far as Might of oaks, I'd leave that out and put Gloomwidow's feast, since this deck had a vulnerability to air. Wheel of Sun and Moon to counter discards. Also add a roughshod mentor
correction now, troll ascetic, I meant mossbridge troll.
Just be wary of the counterspells when they come out. It looks like a pretty solid deck. Having the troll ascetic gives it the huge pump it needs so long as you got the other creatures already in play. Check out the card "Wheel of Sun and Moon"
check out my other blue/red deck. it burns too.. but for every deck someone builds, there is always another type of deck that beats it.
this deck was put together during a tournament style booster pack play.. 3 booster packs per person. 6 people playing. I did a couple minor tweaks to it.. deleting a couple cards, adding a couple of like color and strategy, and of course incresing the amount of cards I thought were the core of the deck.
